We all know that our children will grow up. Infants become toddlers and then before you know it, we are waving goodbye as we leave them for college.
Businesses grow up too! It’s seems all too appropriate for the MomForce Network to enter into toddlerhood with a series of exciting announcements.
Over the last two years, we’ve listened to our employers, our moms and our team and are ready to make some changes that will help us continue to mature and thrive in the flexible employment world.
1. Name Change! The MomForce Network is becoming The MomSource Network! This new name and brand will allow us to do some exciting things in the future. Our fresh new look will be reflected on our website, our Facebook pages and on all the places that you have been used to seeing MomForce. We want to be the single “Source” for candidates who want to pursue flexible employment and the “Source” for employers looking to hire them.
2. Automated Consultation Scheduling! We heard you. Scheduling your initial MomForce interview has been challenging and in some cases impossible. Not anymore. Immediately after Joining the Network, you will now have the opportunity to choose an interview time that works for you from our calendar. You’ll even receive an email confirmation and reminder!
3. Welcome Nashville! We hope to welcome Nashville to the Network in late summer/early fall. That means that we will be introducing a new Market Development Manager in that area and will be available to partner with forward-thinking employers in that area to find great opportunities for our Nashville-area friends.
4. Explosive Growth! Before the end of 2015, our goal is to be available for candidates nationwide and to be serving several enterprise employers. In short, we’ll have the chance to encourage moms nationwide to Join the Network and be recruiting telecommute positions for national employers!
As a woman, a mom and a business owner, I’ll do the best I can to be a good steward of your constituency. We’re still growing, still learning and making tons of mistakes. I promise you that we are well-intentioned and that we will learn from our mistakes and build a better, stronger Network as we continue to grow.
It’s my hope that you’ll stay along for the ride!
Thank you for a great infancy 🙂
